Studio Policy
DEPOSIT
Consultations are always free, however, when booking your tattoo session we require a non- refundable deposit to ensure our clients respect our artist’s time and efforts. By sending us a deposit, you automatically give us your agreement to our studio policy. We ask for a $200 deposit for each session or half session, and each appointment you book with us is guaranteed by a separate deposit. Tattoos of 1-3 hours require a $100 deposit. After your tattoo is done, your deposit is deducted from your session’s price. Deposits are not refundable under any circumstances. We allow one reschedule per appointment. All reschedules must be made with our reception and NOT the artist. Furthermore, as we only book 3 months in advance, all reschedules need to be made within the next 3 months. We do not hold on to your deposit without rescheduling, meaning if you call us to reschedule but are not sure about the new date(s), we will not hold your deposit on file until you get back to us with a new date. In such a situation, your appointment will be canceled and your deposit will be forfeited and you will be required to leave a new deposit to book new sessions. All changes to appointment times within the 48-hour window will mean the loss of your deposit. To book again you will need to pay another deposit and we will not be able to guarantee your original dates. If you do not show up to your appointment without letting us know (no-show), we will require you to pay in full and in advance for the next session you book with us, and that payment will be non- refundable.Consultation and Design Process
Our goal is to make our clients feel safe and confident in our services. To this end, we’ll schedule a free sit-down consultation where we’ll discuss your design and ideas and look over your visual references. Please keep in mind that we only allow 1 person to accompany you to your consultation appointment as we have limited space and must maintain the cleanliness of our studio, as our clients’ safety is our number one priority. During the consultation you and your artist will collaborate on creating your custom tattoo design, it’s important to make sure that you are on the same page and all your ideas have been clearly communicated to your artist. At the end of your consultation appointment, your artist will present you with the final design and we will provide you with a price quote based on this design and your artist’s rate. This quote is an estimate only, and actual tattoo time may differ from the estimate. However, we believe that it is our professional responsibility to give you as accurate an estimate as possible. Please keep in mind that the final version of your design will be ready for you to review on the day of your tattoo appointment, at which time you will be able to make any minor changes. Any major changes to the design will require a second consultation prior to your tattoo appointment. If for any reason you are unhappy with your design after booking your tattoo appointment, please get in touch with us as soon as possible (prior to your first tattoo session) and we will schedule a second consultation for you to sit down with your artist and address your concerns.Day of the Appointment
Please come well-rested and well-fed. Please do not consume alcohol or drugs prior to your appointment, as we do not tattoo intoxicated clients. Please also make sure to arrive on time for your appointment, we allow a 30-min grace period after which we will start charging you according to the artist’s rate. During your tattoo appointment, we must ask that you come alone (no friends, family members, or pets). We have limited space and need to keep the area safe and sanitary. The first hour of your first tattoo appointment will be dedicated to making minor changes to the design, stencilling, sizing, and placement. If you need to make major changes to your design, you may need another consultation. If you need to make another consultation, please make sure to get in contact with us before your first tattoo appointment to allow enough time for us to book you in for a second consultation. If the design changes to the extent that you need less sessions than you originally paid a deposit for, your deposit for the cancelled sessions will be lost. Once the stencil is placed on your body and the artist is ready to tattoo, you will be asked for your final consent for the design. At this time, you should express any concerns or questions you have to the artist or to the front desk. We want you to be completely comfortable with your design. By sitting in the chair and getting under the needle, you have implied consent to the final design. For full or half session appointments, you and your artist will take breaks as needed. Typically, this means two 20-min breaks and 30-min for lunch. If you are experiencing too much pain and need to take additional breaks, we will work with you to make sure that additional breaks are provided to you. However, if you require that the artist repeatedly stop tattooing and allow you to take a break, or if you need to cut the session short due to pain or any other reason, we will have to charge you for the full session booked and you will have to book another session to finish your tattoo.Touch Up Policy
It is very rare that our tattoos require touch-ups. However, sometimes the ink may come out during the healing process. In these types of situations, we provide touch-up services, but they are not always free. To qualify for a free touch-up, you must have purchased and used our aftercare products, followed our aftercare instructions correctly, and contacted our front desk within 2 months of the date of your appointment. We will then ask you to please come to the studio or send in a few clear, well-lit photos and/or videos of the areas to be touched up and we will assess whether a touch-up is required and get back to you to book your appointment. Under no circumstances will we touch-up, darken, or add to a tattoo for free if we decide that a touch-up is not necessary. All touch-ups due to client negligence, error, or injury are not covered by the studio, nor are touch-ups for hand and feet tattoos. All touch-ups that do not qualify as free touch ups will be charged by the hour.
