Dr. Tarek Chbat is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, specializing in Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Chronic Pain Management. He leads a multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists delivering out-of-hospital anesthesia services across diverse clinical environments, including dental practices, oral surgery clinics, and plastic surgery centers.

Since 2012, Dr. Chbat has also been immersed in the field of aesthetic medicine, earning numerous certifications in cosmetic procedures under the mentorship of leading experts. As an educator, he trains fellow healthcare professionals in the full spectrum of aesthetic treatments and techniques. He is the co-founder of GC Aesthetics Academy, an institution dedicated to advancing education on the aesthetic and therapeutic applications of neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and other advanced treatment modalities.

During this call, we’ll gather essential details about your tattoo idea to help our artists better understand your vision. After a quick assessment we will book you in for a design consultation.

Next, you’ll be invited to Heartless Ink for a one-on-one design consultation with Esteban Rodríguez and the selected team of artists. This in-depth session is where we’ll explore your idea creatively and technically. Together, you’ll discuss concepts, artistic direction, and design possibilities. Our team will assess your suitability for a one-day, large-scale procedure and begin shaping the initial version of the tattoo.

Following this session, a custom quote will be prepared based on the scope and complexity of your project. If you choose to move forward, a non-refundable deposit will be collected to officially secure your Painless Tattoo appointment.

Next, you’ll have a medical consultation with our licensed anesthesiologist. This appointment ensures that you’re physically fit for deep sedation. The doctor will review your medical history, explain the procedure, and prepare a personalized sedation plan to ensure your comfort and safety.

One week prior to your procedure, you’ll return to Heartless Ink for a final in-studio consultation. During this visit, we’ll review the completed tattoo design, place the stencil on your body, and make any last adjustments to size, placement, or flow. This is your final opportunity to suggest refinements and make sure every detail feels perfect.

At this stage, both you and your team of artists are fully prepared. The design is complete, the clinic is scheduled, and the anesthesiologist is ready.

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Ancient Philosophy, I decided that I preferred creating beautiful things over writing about other people’s achievements, and so I began

my studies in classical painting. Since then, I have dedicated myself to realizing my ambitions as a painter in the tradition of old masters such as Rembrandt and Caravaggio.

I approach tattooing with the training of a classical painter adapted to the unique demands of creating images on skin. My training in drawing composition and anatomy allows me to craft designs that flow with the human body. My precision and control with each line has been honed through thousands of hours working on paper, canvas, and now skin. My eye is attuned to value, contrast, focus—all aspects that contribute to a harmonious and beautiful tattoo. But most of all, I love having the privilege of applying my skills in a way that brings joy to other people.
